Fear of Love

The depth of something crisp is deepening
Deep within my soul's secert desire
Driving me mad and I can't admit
That it's you I miss

It cannot be true
I can't allow myself to fall for you
I could dream, I could write, I would fight
But your heart still lingers in the air
So now as it frees it will never harbor back inside
Never, ever again

When I know either way that nothing will spur
From the feelings that violently stir
When I know that it is too late for hope
Nothing will ever amount from what elopes
I cannot help that it's slipping in bit by bit
Its too hard to reverse it

It cannot be true
There is no possibility that I am regretfully falling for you
I could sweat, I could run, and I would yell at the midnight sun
But your taste still lingers on my dancing tounge
Now that it has run free it'll never satiate the thirst
Never, now never again

Time and time again I say what has been said before
"Let love come your way"
I sit in the corner grounding myself from that day
Too afraid to be found
Too burnt to be on the bound
