Honey Venom
Hell yeah I'm an open book but you might find some pages missing
Don't need a sleuth
to unriddle her truth, the proof is uncaged hissing
a forked tongue leads to a stinger in the mind
if you indulge in the honey that will poison you blind

I love short poems, it takes talent to draw someone in and create something they can envision with a few words. Great imagery. Nobody needs a sleuth haha

haha thanks, yeah when I was younger I didn't appreciate shorter poems as much. But sometimes lines get lost in a sea of words.
