ENDLESS flapping ~

 The butterflies are flapping their wings endlessly in her stomach, as they desperately try to escape.
The girl can no longer keep the red from taking over her face.
She smiles, because the feeling is too much for her to handle.
The butterflies won't stop,
They continue their flapping..
Only because the boy is still holding her cold hands in his.
She tries to hide it,
But her goosebumps give her away.
The look in her wide eyes gives her away. 
At one point, the butterflies realize that they cannot escape
And so they begin to slow down
And eventually their wings cease to move.
the girl is just so happy.
Until she remembers the boy had to leave.
Time.
T i c k i n g.
So
Very.
quckly.
Time became her enemy,
As distance loomed closer and closer by the impending second.
She took a deep breath to keep her heart from the heaviness.
Her heart felt weak and empty.
as if the restless butterflies flew up, and began gnawing at the remains of her fragile heart.
She looked down to see time had betrayed her..
It was already time to part
so she picked up the remains of her heart
and a forced a smile on her face.
Because at least she had someone so wonderful to miss.

so remember how we were outside (before the guy came to smoke)? You asked me if the butterflies were still flapping.. 
So yeah that inspired me to write this poem.
