We just had a day that I will never forget
Everything went upside down and fell completely to shit
And now you lay here next to me naked except
I feel like I'm unworthy of the affection you give

I forgot you were amazing today
please never forgive me for that moment my mind strayed
To darker places made to rip us apart
Even though it's known to both of us so deep in our hearts

35 Days till I go away and the 35 before those
I broke my heart every day
I never want to leave you, by your side I wish to stay
I can see it in your eyes the way you cringe at the cheesey words I say

I love you, I'll never be able to say that enough
