"The Mark of Cain," (He did not go Unrequited, how much better are our Criminals).

You have been held accountable
of all the unresolved innocent
blood whose deaths have been
unrequited upon the earth

For now from the earth their
blood does ooze and cry out
to be appeased so that their
souls can be released

But you have shunned their
disembodied cries and neglected
to give judgment so that now
within their bowels they despise

The, "Erinyes," have now been
unleashed to enact recompense
within your cities and reward
you for your indifferent ease

Their bowels/entrails twisted
round with snakes, wyrms that
are full-grown now, symbolic
of the names/identities of shame

Their eyes flow profusely with
the blood of the unrequited
innocent-ones slain of the earth,
but to you have no worth

Alecto; implacable, unceasing
anger is stirring within the
hearts of men and will not go
unheard or with-held in her day

Megaera; the jealous one will
not be re-directed when her grudge
flows from the hurts of men and
enacts swift disaster

Tisiphone, "clothed in a blood-wet
dress," will not rest her avenging
of the earth's murders till every
infraction of your judges be addressed

So continue to slap the wrists and
spare your killers but know that
your error does not go away quietly
because the blood-shed is not hidden
but is filling the air with its stench
and Heaven's spilling

Over

Even as Cain slew his brother and
his face bore the mark/identity of his
crime so that he walked the earth and
was cast-out from before everyone so
that he was no longer welcome

But you embrace those who should be
cast-out and bring their curse upon you,
but just know that you are also bearing
their image and likeness

Kindred spirits dwell together
