A Nautical Undressing

My instinct is to say you are morally bankrupt.
But, that would insinuate the loss of some previously held fortune.
Let me instead say, I do not believe your compass to be true.
Though i wish it were another way,
I am of the opinion that it would be very foolish to follow your direction.
I've a port to land.
And, though i may crash by my own navigation,
I may crash going your way too.
At least if i don't make it to the end going my way,
I'll know i was headed towards the proper sands.
