Disconnect

Splintered memories,fractured recollections looming up out of the lost time fog.
head trapped within the shadows of torment,shrouded in a madness that made no sense at all.
a mist of terrible thoughts,clouded anger,spite,like venom killing what's left inside.
the threat of physical and mental damage so very real to me now,
my peace about to be shattered..
chasms deep dark emotions twisting me about,unclear and obscured my path and direction.
visions within the fog,horrid,empty shadows speak to me of cold broken trust and betrayal,of things that weigh me down and strip away all things happy,mere illusions that slowly fade in the mist.
glimpses of past pain and misery all mirrored in the cold dark void,moments like specs of light that quickly vanish into the shadows of oblivion,forgotten in a blink of an eye..
fear like a blanket weighed heavy overhead a fear that took away all that I am..
