Don't bother buyin' the cow

When you've got the milk for free,
Better than free,
You're being paid, emotionally
To drink the milk,
Why should you buy the cow?

When you've had four years
Of employment as a milk drinker,
Only the odd dispute
About whether or not you should
At least not demand payment
Just drink it for free,
And maybe let other people know
Your milk needs are completely catered for.
Why should you even look at the invoice
For the cow.

Why should you?
It's completely unreasonable for the cow
To expect payment after all these years.
