Nobody (Get's Down like We Do)

We were hungry, hungry, hippies
it was in the middle of march.
We took pills that made us fast friends
and we created our own church.
Together we went off the grid
we let our phone batteries die
and in a circle of our friends
we passed the bong and we got high.

Nobody get's down like we do
keep the rhythm, we love to move.
count the steps out in our heads
feel it in our fingers, then our legs
Nobody get's down like we do
it's in our blood, we love to move.

It was the middle of summer
your air conditioning went out.
we pretended we were camping
just so we could get about.
and we moved on to harder things
thinking we were invincible
and we really knew nothing of
the cards we put on the table.

Nobody get's down like we do
keep the rhythm, we love to move.
count the steps out in our heads
feel it in our fingers, then our legs
Nobody get's down like we do
it's in our blood, we love to move.

Well we went back to our hometown
with our tails between our legs.
Thanking any God we wanted
that we did not end up dead.
Now I've started to realize
that we should not hang our heads
cause we came out of this better
so it was worth all of those ends.

Nobody get's down like we do
keep the rhythm, we love to move.
count the steps out in our heads
feel it in our fingers, then our legs
Nobody get's down like we do
it's in our blood, we love to move.
