The Distance Between Us

Every time I close my eyes
I catch fleeting glimpses of you.
Little flashes of memories
Of all of the things that you do.
And, although it's been so long,
My lonely heart bursts into flames.
And I cry for a moment
Cause I know I'm the one that's to blame.

Then wake up to find you are gone.

Remains and it feels so damn wrong.
