Her mind was a secret garden
and the walls were very high
She used to flash a smile
that brightened the darkest skies

But behind her smile
laid a broken heart
and behind her laugh
she slowly fell apart

Hidden away from all the world
where no one could witness the tears
She never needed anyone
to help battle the addiction and fear

So in the secret garden she would stay
with only her thoughts... alone
