Life's Broken Road
I walk alone
on this cold, desolate street
hoping to encounter
no strangers to greet
with my broken smile
and tear-stained face
the rain washes away
the crimson stains
the sick, twisted thoughts
that flood my mind
I remember the lies
as I contemplate suicide
I continue to wander
along this long-winding road
attempting to escape sorrow
but, of course, there's only one way out
so please don't think you'll see me tomorrow
on this cold, desolate street
hoping to encounter
no strangers to greet
with my broken smile
and tear-stained face
the rain washes away
the crimson stains
the sick, twisted thoughts
that flood my mind
I remember the lies
as I contemplate suicide
I continue to wander
along this long-winding road
attempting to escape sorrow
but, of course, there's only one way out
so please don't think you'll see me tomorrow
