Entombed
I live in the ground with all the rats and snakes and bugs
Spending lost hours crawling in the mud
With insanity comes laughter that bursts from my lips
An eternity alone has made me sick
Inside these catacombs, this home I call my grave
Visions of death have left me depraved
Among the dirt and mildew I can make out the smell of rot
Self-preservation has become self-taught
Wrapped in the shrouds of my fathers
Break free but why bother?
Clean air would decay my
Body and the sun would burn my eyes
Though I would love to strangle those who put me here
I would give them a reason to fear
They would scream in terror as they watches the undead walk
Then be one more body lined in chalk
But, no.
I must remain
With my remains
Until I’m claimed
Damned with chains
Entombed inside
Trying to hide
From the sun’s sight
And avoid the light
I am
Entombed
Spending lost hours crawling in the mud
With insanity comes laughter that bursts from my lips
An eternity alone has made me sick
Inside these catacombs, this home I call my grave
Visions of death have left me depraved
Among the dirt and mildew I can make out the smell of rot
Self-preservation has become self-taught
Wrapped in the shrouds of my fathers
Break free but why bother?
Clean air would decay my
Body and the sun would burn my eyes
Though I would love to strangle those who put me here
I would give them a reason to fear
They would scream in terror as they watches the undead walk
Then be one more body lined in chalk
But, no.
I must remain
With my remains
Until I’m claimed
Damned with chains
Entombed inside
Trying to hide
From the sun’s sight
And avoid the light
I am
Entombed
