Event Horizon Newest Version
this sadness
that singularity
from which no light escapes
dark force of nature
with an awful gravity
every part
now attracted
to this place
before time began
no memory
nor form,
therefore not to worry
what dreams may come
I do not resist
this shrinking orbit
as if I could
second version
this sadness
this singularity
from which no light escapes
dark force of nature
with its awful gravity
every part
attracted
to that place
before time began
no memory forms
therefore, I do not worry
what dreams may come
I do not resist
this shrinking orbit
as if I could
Original Poem
What is this sadness
this singularity
from which no light escapes
this dark force of my own nature
with its awful gravity
Every part of me
is now attracted
to that place of all beginnings
before time began
Absent time no memory forms
therefore, I will not worry
what dreams may come
No, I would not resist
this shrinking orbit
Even if I could
that singularity
from which no light escapes
dark force of nature
with an awful gravity
every part
now attracted
to this place
before time began
no memory
nor form,
therefore not to worry
what dreams may come
I do not resist
this shrinking orbit
as if I could
