The Immortal Curse
Looking into a mirror
What I see is bleak and hollow
Must I be the bearer
Of such weakness and sorrow?
I have not the power
To face many more days
From my lonely tower
The sun shines no more rays
I was cursed
With undying grace
It has spawned
This withered face
For all time
Staring from a hearse
Until time ends
The Immortal Curse
Someone please show me
A way off of the unjust rock
Someone please silence
The drone of the tick-tock
It is eating away my brain
Like it’s made of grain
I must board a train
To relieve the horrid pain
The blood inside is dry
I am held together by webs
Why can I not die
And fall into the final bed?
I need a restful sleep
To the end of time
But I stand on weary feet
What is my true crime?
I was cursed
With undying grace
It has spawned
This withered face
For all time
Staring from a hearse
Until time ends
The Immortal Curse
What I see is bleak and hollow
Must I be the bearer
Of such weakness and sorrow?
