My love my heart my spirit. I miss and wish upon you. It’s been only a couple of days but they will multiply soon. With each multiplication I’ll wish harder and long for you further. I got to see you leave and that's my last memory. I hold on to every memory so clearly. So I can keep you near when you're miles away. In all this time I must not stray. But continue to meditate upon you. All the textures of your skin have been carved onto my palms. So I touch you when the moment is right. Your sleepovers keep me dreaming. Like we were in union from the very beginning. That this is all a continuation of many years together. I hope you travelled safely and secure in the knowledge that the most high carried you all the way. And the thoughts of those who love you will keep you afloat. Our time together was always limited. That’s why I memorised as much as I could. This is my backup plan. I don’t need to forget you when you’re gone. Because when you return I must continue to love you as I did before. And perhaps a little more than before. I sit here living in my daydreams. You’re oceans away living your dream. Your lips smooching mine as we said our goodbyes lingers on my mind. As embarrassed as I was for something I’m not used to, I did it anyway. Knowing it’s my last kiss for a lengthy separation. I will continue to connect with you through my fantasies and mostly through my prayers. The love I keep inside will keep the flame ablaze. The light will direct you back to me. And we will kiss once again.
