Stay
You're leaving soon,
Going your own way,
But you don't know,
How much I want you
to stay.
I search for a way,
To tell you not to go,
That you hold my heart,
And I love you so.
I have to do something,
There's no time to wait,
I run to your house,
Praying it's not too late.
You're walking to your car,
I'm there in the driveway,
I pull you close and kiss
you longingly,
Then whisper softly, "Stay".
Going your own way,
But you don't know,
How much I want you
to stay.
I search for a way,
To tell you not to go,
That you hold my heart,
And I love you so.
I have to do something,
There's no time to wait,
I run to your house,
Praying it's not too late.
You're walking to your car,
I'm there in the driveway,
I pull you close and kiss
you longingly,
Then whisper softly, "Stay".
