Roof-Top...

I thought the silence would keep me from hurting through every moment
but the quieter I got the screaming grew louder.
This reality is killing me inside but still nothing can cure this.

As I stand on the edge of a roof-top, my heart no longer beats.
My fear has faded just like the times we're together.
You will catch me as I drop into your embrace.
When I am crossing over to where you are my casket will close.
My grave shuts closed.

As your eyes are closing I'm glad I could be your last sight.
My crackling voice was the closest thing to a lullaby.
The picture painted along the walls comes from what crawls beneath my skin.
Tears on the end of my paintbrush.

I stared up to the roof-top, you held my hand.
We'll fade away towards our paradise, together.
The remedy I need is poison I drink.
Now that I've crossed over to where you are my casket will close.
My grave shuts closed.
My eyes shut closed.
The door shuts closed...
