SOmethings Once Altered
I sit in this basement, at this computer for what will likely be the last time. I'm supposed to be Kansas bound tonight. My old friend and connect is coming to get me after he finishes up some business.
It looks like things may somewhat go back to the way they were. I'm moving to a different town than the one I left so I'll have to find new customers, but that won't take long. Hopefully I've got a legit job set up, building fence on my old crew.
I'm trying to keep my mind off her, but since I'm going to live with my sister, her best friend it hasn't been easy not to think about that inevitable, unavoidable moment when I see her again. I tell myself I'll be strong, that I'm over her, but I taste the lie.
Something's go back to normal, others once altered cannot be changed.
