Truth When Told
Each and everyday
You make me pay
By the things you say
The more you pull away
You love me less
I failed the test
My sin confessed
Stole your happiness
Riddled with guilt
Of temptations jilt
Our foundation now tilts
These walls we have built
I love you more
Than ever before
But your heart I tore
I'm just a worthless whore
I can not sit here and lie
As these tears sting my eyes
You deserve the whole blue sky
While I deserve to choke and die
I will never forgive myself
For these cards to you I've dealt
And the way you have felt
In hell my soul should slowly melt
I know you will never again trust me
This lesson learned has made me see
No matter how truly sorry I may really be
The truth when told does not set one free
You make me pay
By the things you say
The more you pull away
You love me less
I failed the test
My sin confessed
Stole your happiness
Riddled with guilt
Of temptations jilt
Our foundation now tilts
These walls we have built
I love you more
Than ever before
But your heart I tore
I'm just a worthless whore
I can not sit here and lie
As these tears sting my eyes
You deserve the whole blue sky
While I deserve to choke and die
I will never forgive myself
For these cards to you I've dealt
And the way you have felt
In hell my soul should slowly melt
I know you will never again trust me
This lesson learned has made me see
No matter how truly sorry I may really be
The truth when told does not set one free
