Star Blazen Rain
I close my eyes
And raise my head to the heavens
My eye lids twich at rain patters on my face
The cool liquid from the heavens energizes me
I see a bright flash on the other side of my eye lids
And then there is a crack of thunder
This thunder clap entices a faster heart rate
Causeing me to breath faster
My hair to stand on end
And for me to enjoy every second of it
I fall back
Landing on the wet manicured grass
I open my eyes
To see star blazen skies
I could never come up with an accurate word
To describe the beauty of a million stars
They are nothing like little diamond
Calling them little diamonds would be an insult
They are more beautiful than seeing your first born child
More breath taking than the best gift you could ever receive
The stars speak so many tales
That it would take a lifetime to comprehend just one
Being starstruck under a cloudless sky
As rain falls upon my numb body
And thunder roars with all its' might
I am struck with a revelation
What if there is no definite afterlife
No heaven, hell, or reincarnation
All there is
Is the moving on of your soul
To a place
That it truly belongs
The one revelation
That I have hunted for
All my life came to me
Under this Star Blazen Rain
And raise my head to the heavens
My eye lids twich at rain patters on my face
The cool liquid from the heavens energizes me
I see a bright flash on the other side of my eye lids
And then there is a crack of thunder
This thunder clap entices a faster heart rate
Causeing me to breath faster
My hair to stand on end
And for me to enjoy every second of it
I fall back
Landing on the wet manicured grass
I open my eyes
To see star blazen skies
