Over The Sea
Tell me the fallacious story
Of the head beside your own
I’m nothing left but ears
This can go on for years
Taken aback in all the right ways
Of the love that resides
In each sweet sound
A harmony, swirling around
To be sane is to live
With a lie sewn in the skin
You know more than most
Never giving up the ghost
Tonight, we’ll save her
And all fly over the sea
For now, just keep me company
In this room that holds nobody
Of the head beside your own
I’m nothing left but ears
This can go on for years
Taken aback in all the right ways
Of the love that resides
In each sweet sound
A harmony, swirling around
To be sane is to live
With a lie sewn in the skin
You know more than most
Never giving up the ghost
Tonight, we’ll save her
And all fly over the sea
For now, just keep me company
In this room that holds nobody
