Out the Doubt

Uncertainty of the future can paralyze you in
 the present
All of that time wasted in fear is time that
 is ill spent
Always second guessing your ability leaves you
 forever in doubt
Searching for a way to escape the bondage, but
 never finding the way out
Not having the courage to reach out and make
 yourself known
Leaves you so lonely that the only voice you
 hear is your own
The silence can be so deafening that the echo
 resounds in your mind
The solitude is so glaring that the darkness of
 being alone can leave you blind
Letting go of the hurt you've been caused and the
 pain you continuously feel
Can turn those dreams of love and friends into
 something real
The fear and pain get you nowhere but left alone and  
 scared
Because you never let anyone in- even when they swore
 they cared

 rightfully belong
