Wrong & Right

I debated with an old friend
On a subject dear to me
I made my case most lucidly
But he would not agree
Round and round and round we went
Long into the night
Our opinions just as strong
The point now out of sight
Finally at half past four
We’d satisfied our need
Totally exhausted
Now we both agreed
That despite our heated faces
And impassioned need to fight
Two men may clearly disagree
But neither may be right.
