Bath Spa - More than a university

Sustainability,
Few possess the ability to make a change,
But you do, and you, and of course you,
so before I begin I just want to say thank you,
because you've already started without even asking,
to make our future long and ever lasting,

so here I am,
They call me Bath Spa, the university,
And I'm a nearly guy,
I'm 6th, I was 7th in the Leagues of green,
Never first, not 1 medal, not 1 to be seen,
I'm Bath Spa, the University,
and now I wonder, do any of you even care for me?

65% Recycled with 106 bins and over 7000 people,
and this might sound ungrateful or even a little evil,
but I promise you, that's not the case,
but we can do more to make our university a greener place.
For you, for me, I just really hope that you can see,
that our university is whatever we want it to be,

My Carbon emissions are 23% down,
65% of what you use is being used again,
But sometimes I wonder,
does this really mean anything,
or are these just words?
This might even be a little absurd,
but I've been thinking,
are you only here for the sex, parties and drinking?

You see,
This is my home, but when I talk nobody seems to listen,
Every time I open my mouth it’s like I’m Tom Cruise, and this is that mission,
But I’m me, so without stealing lines I have a dream, or should I say vision?
But for that to work I need everybody to pull together, shut up and listen,
You see, my dream doesn’t involve warfare, crime, or even that ‘word’ politician,
My dream's  a coalition, A committee, a community,  formed together through unity,
to establish this newly found home that we call Bath Spa University.
