Chemistry of Love

An amazing strategy
Natures goal to reproduce
Chemistry really showing off its brilliance
Such complex brain circuitry

Testosterone, Estrogen, Dopamine, noreponephrine, adrenaline, serotonin, oxytocin, vasopressin, amd endorphines

Attraction, Romantic love, The long ride
Stages in which we go through along the journey of love
All stemmed off natures main goal
Reproduction!

Chemicals, aka drugs hardwired into a reproductive rhythmic dance
It's not all up to chance
Equiped through evolution to feel the things we feel

Testosterone and Estrogen give us our sexual drive
Dopamine gives us the euphoric feelings in which we get addicted to
Norepinepherine and Adrenaline increase our attention span and our ability to focus on one person
Serotonin decreases to blind us to our lovers flaws
Oxytocin and Vasopressin chemically bond us and give us the sence of unity
Endorphines  make us feel peaceful and secure

Love has stages and its apparent for those who have fell in love, been in love, and fell out of love
As we are learnig simplicity does not exist, It's all very complex

Simple alterations to the brain can change everything!
(example: If we humans didn't have oxytocin receptors, the idea of long term relationships like "marriage" wouldn't be considered.
The feeling of unity [that connection between two people] wouldn't be able to be experienced biologically )

Different chemicals are secreted at different times
Which plays a huge roll in the different feelings
and different stages of love in which we find ourselves

**Love is a tool to guide us to and through reproduction and  successful upbringing of offspring

None the less
Love is one beautifully intense experience
Since it's our driving force for reproduction, thus life
It is our most powerful evolutionary achievement

I wish love upon us all at some point or another
