Intriguing...Sad....Lovely.  This piece presents such an unexpected concept of how the Moon Goddess is usually presented.

Somehow,at least for me, she is invariably portrayed as the ruler of her night world...but, your poem definitely puts a creative,symbolic, more sinister spin on this entire idea.
