She Dances
She dances above the whirlpool
gazes down into the warm, enticing glow
her toes tickle near the spinning edge
she watches a beautiful light show
The rapid waters splash around
she feels her excitement growing
she can not seem to look away
inspired by what nature is now showing
She dances above the whirlpool
she herself a great beauty to behold
she has poise and she has grace
but her greatest strength, her heart of gold
She dove down into the whirlpool
for it's beauty, she wanted to behold
she was never to arise from the sea
so they say, that's how the story is told
