The ridge falls sheer
shards of sharp black glass
flashing sporadic visions
reflections of my past
abyss of all my fears
faded dreams imprisoned
locked away and hidden
mauled and badly bitten
in a smoke that never clears
lost and in the darkness
in awe of it's vastness
and living with the nightmare
of being judged by all my peers
