traffic free streets
limited time only
luxury soft fog
reminds me of cotton wool

like a theatre backdrop
and the long day wanes
in to obscurity and waste
Balliffs do their work
libraries close on Sunday
sullen in the dying sun
books need a rest
their shelves creak in their silence
