Image for the poem Dandelion Dreams

Dandelion Dreams

she lays naked and itching
amidst a field of weeds
exhaling a storm of reaction
under these dry flying seeds

she rolls harshly ecstatic
longing to be no more
alone she feels pyroclastic
for slowly rising spores

phallic hauntings consume her age
having fuck all for need
codependent to her rage
she lays naked sick of humanity
longing to be blown in the breeze

the dandelions engulf her
no flames for the sage in her dreams
