LIFE
The grass is not always greener
But forget that
We speed on to greener pastures
Looking out the window
Seeing the storm
But not caring
Nothing feels better
Than running from Home
Who like the feeling of being alone
So we load up the vehicle
With hopes of floating
from reality
Ignoring all the signs along the road
Just to trick yourself of false hope
So we drive on
Until our vehicle gets stuck
In the green grass we fought so hard to live on
Then realize underneath it was nothing but mud and murk
Who put this grass on a dirty ass sea
If I only woulda listened to the road signs
I would have seen
That I was headed to the cliff of the end of me
Covered with such beautiful greenery
But forget that
We speed on to greener pastures
Looking out the window
Seeing the storm
But not caring
Nothing feels better
Than running from Home
Who like the feeling of being alone
So we load up the vehicle
With hopes of floating
from reality
Ignoring all the signs along the road
Just to trick yourself of false hope
So we drive on
Until our vehicle gets stuck
In the green grass we fought so hard to live on
Then realize underneath it was nothing but mud and murk
Who put this grass on a dirty ass sea
If I only woulda listened to the road signs
I would have seen
That I was headed to the cliff of the end of me
Covered with such beautiful greenery
