Black Murky Walls

The walls close in
Pretending innocence
Crying from within
Blood so limitless

A pointless battle
Under my skin
No point to tattle
A fight I cannot win

A step away
From sweet escape
Night falls grey
The day to rape

The stars shine
Before I am aware
The clock strucks nine
Giving a lonely blare

A precious gift of quiet
Sinks slowly like a fog
Calming the riot
Moving in a slog

A thunderous dragon
Lets out a roar
I haste, taking action
Cutting out its core

Taking me under
A black murky sea
