Time keeps slipping away

Time keeps slipping away, and my problems never change, only numbers, faces, and names, so why do I  continue playing games, isolated because I must remain strong, show no fear, for too long I've been out here on my own, no shoulder to cry on, nobody to confide to, the world seems lesser, because through my eyes, everybody I trusted wasn't true,  I've hit an emotional wind right now I'm feeling the breeze, I can't think about the past, but my mind is freeze flashing shots reminding why ill never be free, listen to the birds sing, back away from the wall, lower your guard, ill be here for you in case you fall, open your heart this is the truth, I won't forget what you have to say, I'm listening to you, and I care I truly do, sadness and fear rule the world and it's affecting us to, I can't read your mind and you are pushing me away, don't go too far, you might lose your way, turn the lights down and consider my song, this isn't about trying to be strong, but let me see your pain, that's real strength putting everything on the line again, looking fearless on the outside but dying inside, lets do this together, quit running away it's not time to hide, despite what you believe might happen, or what has happened to you before, look to the future and leave the past behind, hold my hand we will advance in time, know you can't do it all alone, I've demonstrated my spirit and exposed my soul, I want the best for you, but what you are doing is wrong, I feel the breeze I know it's cold, moving to new places without a care, you won't find what you are looking for there, eternal battles trying to escape the shadows, I've seen it all and many fall, this isn't the way, oh no, but hey, time keeps slipping away, moving on now, but...time...keeps...slipping...away...
