I wanted you as my lover
I wanted you as my friend
I wanted you forever
I never wanted us to end
I wanted you in my arms
I wanted to hold you tight
I wanted you to love me
I didn’t want to fight
I wanted your lips to kiss me
I wanted to feel your touch
I wanted you to believe in me
I didn’t ask for much
I wanted you by my side
I wanted to see this through
And now I feel so stupid
Because you didnt want me too
I wanted you as my friend
