NIGHT TIME
They perch on my roof top
Eaves dropping on my deep breaths
And gather at my doorposts
They whistle in the wind all night
And I know not what they are
But I know not what they are
But I know no fear
For surely
Dawn will soon be here.
They come with darkness like owls
Hooting nearby
Landing many times on my roof
And flapping their big wings
Like an unknown bird
But I know no fear.
Dawn is coming
With its own forces to reveal
The footprint of all
That paid me visits at night.
Eaves dropping on my deep breaths
And gather at my doorposts
They whistle in the wind all night
And I know not what they are
But I know not what they are
But I know no fear
For surely
Dawn will soon be here.
They come with darkness like owls
Hooting nearby
Landing many times on my roof
And flapping their big wings
Like an unknown bird
But I know no fear.
Dawn is coming
With its own forces to reveal
The footprint of all
That paid me visits at night.
