From like to lust
In the dark your light shines through
I know what it's like to be you
Having an inside so black
But to come from the light
Oh how you tempt me
In my dreams tonight
Seducing my thoughts
I question if I should
You make me feel so bad
But the bad feels good
The pictures in my head
Your sweat in my bed
From like, to lust, to beg for more
From clean, to dirty, to on the floor
Lying, crying, damaged and sore
A fallen angel with a broken core
Why did you fall
Am I to blame
I can help you get home
and ease your pain
I'll sacrifice parts of me
To lift you up
From my heart to my veins
My blood fills this cup
Drink me, take me,
Use me to live
You've sucked me dry
What more can I give?
From like, to lust, to beg for more
From clean, to dirty, to on the floor
Lying, crying, damaged and sore
A fallen angel with a broken core
When you can spread your wings again
and you return to the sky
I'll be happy that I helped
But a part of me will die
I know what it's like to be you
Having an inside so black
But to come from the light
Oh how you tempt me
In my dreams tonight
Seducing my thoughts
I question if I should
You make me feel so bad
But the bad feels good
The pictures in my head
Your sweat in my bed
From like, to lust, to beg for more
From clean, to dirty, to on the floor
Lying, crying, damaged and sore
A fallen angel with a broken core
Why did you fall
Am I to blame
I can help you get home
and ease your pain
I'll sacrifice parts of me
To lift you up
From my heart to my veins
My blood fills this cup
Drink me, take me,
Use me to live
You've sucked me dry
What more can I give?
From like, to lust, to beg for more
From clean, to dirty, to on the floor
Lying, crying, damaged and sore
A fallen angel with a broken core
When you can spread your wings again
and you return to the sky
I'll be happy that I helped
But a part of me will die
