HEALTH CARE

The Minister is a good man
He is also very rich.

And from the grapevine,
He has a big clinic abroad
Where his fat children are
treated
For over nutrition
He cannot afford the risk
To treat them in our country’s
hospitals.

When his convoy
Of posh automobiles
Is passing through my
district
In a procession
He would wave at
The many kwashiorkoric children

Who clap and hail the
Minister of Health.
Sometimes, in good gesture,
He throws fresh minted cash
In the air for them.
A good man in deed.
