The Fray
Dreams of you still haunt my heart
I guess I always knew, even from the start
Swiftly you took me apart
I swear sometimes I can still feel your touch
Then everything fades to grey
I miss you, my perfect little crutch
Then came the fray
That was the day you took my happiness away
The level of betray still leaves me in a state of dismay
Even after it happened, I would have stayed
I am still alone to this day
Trapped in a whirlpool bitterness I just cannot sway
Still stuck on the beautiful lies you would smoothly say
I'm lost, feeling forever misplaced.
