Set Me Free
Inside the veil is a lifeless energy that I crave
A morbid fascination with the death that I feel
No oxygen, No sight, No hearing, No thoughts
Just a moment trapped in time, Floating through sand
Did you wish to join me, Or was I mistaken
I felt you step inside the hourglass
But I haven't felt you since
Do I still belong here or in your arms
No home, No possessions, Just a castle on a rotting foundation
Was I the architect that designed such a hellish paradise
Or am I the saboteur hellbent on destroying this abomination
No stones, No confessions, Just a crown built of images of the dead
Set me free, No don't you dare
Let me be, No don't just stand there
I beg for you, Please leave me here
I beg of you, Please take me with you
A morbid fascination with the death that I feel
