God Is My Rock

God is my rock my sword
He lives in me and brings
Me through my mountains
The devil is busy trying to
Turn me against my faith
It’s a journey I’m going
Through something
The word is God because he lives
He sits on the throne looking at
This troubled world I live in
I am of this world my body and flesh
Formed within this earth I live in this Earth
But this is not my resting place. I’m reaching to
Heavens, mercy reigns louder than the song in my heart
My voice sings the graces songs harmony in my spirit
I’ve fallen from graces eyes once again I’m knocking on heavens
Door pleading for my life is in the Lords hands. I want to live in faithfulness
And right. I am no saint I am a sinner who pleads for mercy hears the Lord speak
Within my heart and soul the song is heart pounding joy and laughter in the name
Of Christ he lives in me he died for me, but he lives forever no more dying no more
Crying speak of good news in my heart aloud in the air so everyone can rejoice in the
Name my lord by grace keep me near the Christ, the cross I hold my hands to pray for
Deliverance, may I breathe new life you are the creator I fall on my knees. You are not
Done with me I am so grateful you live you are the truth. May your light never darken my eyes
