Never is Forever
by gentlegirl
Crying in the night
muffled by a hand
Knowing it wont stop
heart flows with demand
Instincts speaking clear
run run run away
He's not for you Dear
words she can't obey
Without him how she live
death cries to dismiss
Aching heart so real
soothed with just his kiss
She leaves and dies a little
til in is arms again
His voice is like a magnet
drawing her within
So smooth his words to her
her heart she did give
The soul is one with him
as long as both shall live
Their vibrant faces showed
feelings from their hearts
Every breath they breathed
spoke they never part
As Summer turned to Fall
with love soon to dim
The secrets she discovered
gave her distrust of him
While lying down with her
another he did bed
Love names she was called
to another were also said
Her heart seemed made of crystal
as it shattered all around
Piercing every being
and falling to the ground
He scrambled to his knees
to save a crystal heart
Trying to put together
what he had torn apart
Why not use a gun
to destroy my life if must
Once trust is gone
there's noting left for us
But months passed and she tried
to gain the feel again
To trust him as before
but all was tried in vain
She'd leave him many times
but only to return
Because she loved him Dearly
this lesson hard to learn
Sorry sorry sorry
she heard so many times
Then toward the end
it began to be a line
He blamed it then on her
for feelings of mistrust
Not living in the present
but past filled with disgust
Sometime the hurts too often
numbs you from inside
No longer does your heart break
and no more tears are cried
Then lesson is now learned
as you slowly walk away
Believing in the present
looking at a brighter day
Though he now cries of pain
that he knows he has caused
His crystal heart is shattered
but doesn't give her pause.
Goodbye not even said
two hearts now are broken
No feel of good is here
no longer love words spoken
She knows though heart is broken
Remains her love for him
Her never is forever
this love remains within
