Love Signs.. Sonets and Table Tops
If he knocked on my door right now
I swear I would, For however long,
I swear I would let him own me.
My body, My house,
The clothes I'm wearing.
Even the food in my fridge
For those few hours I'd sign
away all of me over to him.
To be a geisha in kimono or a tart in
clear heels, I would pay him everytime.
Feed him from my fridge, sing to him
a sonet, To making out with him on my table.
His dark desires, The actress In our own film,
Showing my eagerness to learn my lines.
If he knocked on my door right now
I swear I would, For however long,
I swear I would fall in love all over again,
As he sweeps me into his arms..
I swear, Nothing of the above would really
matter anymore.
If he would just knock..
