Just One More Dumb Thing I Shouldn't Have Done

Saturday night,
fight or flight.
Nightclub scene,
real-life or wet dream.
Gotta make a simple choice,
speak the words with a charming voice.

Hips together,
fingers lock,
follow the bass-line,
beat the clock.
Dancing until the nightclubs end,
spend small hours with a one-night friend.

Name is drowning,
Smirnoff's too deep,
lipstick is smearing,
staining left cheek.
Lips press together in one tight kiss,
make a joke, but don't take the piss.

Buy her a single,
tell her it's two.
Chat total shit,
don't focus on you.
Take her hand and lead her home,
don't spend Saturday night alone.

Clothes on floor,
on sofa too.
Carry her to bed,
know she wants you.
Bodies tangled in tantric knots,
underwear are forget-me-nots.

Sweat glistens,
nobody listens.
Passion sounding,
two hearts pounding.
Muscles contort in ecstasy,
all is done, let it be.
