STRANGER
Safe inside your cozy home,
a strangers eyes sneak through the window.
To watch you rest, and dress, and bathe.
Your life is artwork, for this stranger's gaze.
Through you he lives, and thrives unseen.
Through you comes true, his make believe.
If paths should cross, and you both touch,
in crowded rooms,should shoulders brush.
You may feel a familiar chill,
as felt before, when the night is still.
While just outside that stranger breathes.
An emotional feast,on which he feeds.
Knowing it's just a matter of time.
A stranger no more, once you are mine.
