A love Poem

I hate you more than I ever remember loving you
This passion possesses me
bending me over and slipping inside of me

that’s all I ever wanted you to do

Instead

you find gain in absence
Torturing me with your lack and humility

Taking everything from me, but my pleasure
Leaving me wanting and waning

Like the moon that comes new
I awake in my light
to hate you

I’ve given enough and you’ve taken too much
So this too will be brief

Like the moon that comes full
I get my due
Satisfying my pleasure
in hating
