Teach with music
I dream of excelling in academics,
but dreaming alone won't make it happen.
Nor will over thinking of my mental capabilities shrinking,
and the inefficiency of my minds mechanics.
So sometimes, I do manage to prioritize.
The things I need from the things I want,
the things that are good for me from the things that aren't.
But after a few weeks things start falling apart...
Now I'm trapped in a dark ocean, of negativity.
Negative thoughts faltering my mental activity,
escaping reality, suffering from psychosis...
In need of extensive therapy to regain my focus.
Purpose being therapy, I search for symphonies and melodies.
To concoct my harmonious remedy.
To many or few, my methods might seem foolish,
but there's something extremely therapeutic... In music.
My mind in a tranquil state listening to the tunes,
and understanding the message the harmony alludes.
Now understanding simply means knowledge is consumed.
So all teaching should be musical, what do we have to lose?
Not everyone likes reading, some find it very hard.
But everyone loves listening, because music is an art.
It reaches memory quicker and lingers because it touches your heart,
and academically a good memory will surely take you far.
Now, imagine a class, where students don't want the bell to ring.
They'd rather stay, in class... and listen to the teacher sing.
