Sirens
I heard the sirens wailing
And as I was running away, I prayed that sanity might visit me in the morning and not the police
I received a phone call several days later… Apparently they were waiting for me at my home
Physical freedom was slipping from my grasp
The veins in my head still throbbing, pumping narcotics around my body

The veins in my head still throbbing, pumping narcotics around my body
