Do I understand every feeling?
Ever bit of pain?
Is there hope,
Through this journey of sorrow?
Will we all live tomorrow?

Those tears of joy?
We have died many deaths,
And lived many lives,
But do we feel that way?
Pain encrusts us all,
It lives upon
My bruised and broken soul.
But through it all,
I hold my head up high,
Looking to the sky.
I open my heart to the world,
Like a flower to the rain.
Don’t let it bring you down.
Live through pain.
Shut it down.
Control yourself.
But look upon the world,
Open your eyes,
And see the tears I’ve cried,
The joy I’ve shed.
See my sorrow,
And stay with me.
Please take a look and see,
The world is cruel,
And I shed my soul.
I bring peace to all.
But do you understand,
What’s in store for me?
Can you see what I see?
Do you live like me?
Will you cry for me?
This pain is never ending,
Sorrow forever.
Never changing anything.
Cry with me,
And die with me,
See the things I see.
Live in pain,
Cry everyday.
I am filled with
Internal blindness,
Confused and hurt,
Dazed with no control.
Why does life fade away?
Help me find the cure,
Find the way.
