For you Mum on Mothers Day

As this day approaches, trembling in my heart
I just know that deep within, we're not so far apart
I stand alone hold out my hand, and gently do I pray
That you will walk right up to me, and as we walk away
You will hold on to my hand, and hug me close to you

My Mum, the one I loved and lost, was all way too soon
I look upon the stars at night and look into the moon
I see you smiling down on me, and touching on my face
I see the warmth within your touch, a touch of loving grace
I wish just one more time, I had you close to me
Id say, hey Ma, like you now I will be
Happy Mothers Day I wish to say to you
